Beside learning time, I also participate in our after-school extension, where students are able to choose their favorite activities to do. One of my activities is gardening. I found it’s fun and relaxing, but also hard working when doing the planting, but I really enjoy doing it.
This was one of the books that I read. Me and my three other members choose this book for our reading group. This is my favorite book as well because I love knowing stories about Khmer Rouge and besides this book is based on real story of a person’s life as well.
In science class, we did three experiments and they were Blood Pressure, where we learned if a person has low of high blood pressure and also how the use the material. Another experiment was PASCO lab, where we test the heart beat of a person at rest and after they exercise, like what happened and what’s the difference. Last but not least, we also did an experiment on blood type. It was my favorite one because we need to identify a father for a daughter and that daughter has three possible fathers, so it was fun until we found out who’s the real father.
In Khmer class, we learned to write different professional letters just in case we need to use it in the future and one of them is asking permission to break for few days because of some sort of reasons. Below is my writing.

On the 30th of October, my friends and I went to Music Art School to watch the show and listen to Cambodian singers there singing their original songs. Besides, the Music Art School also set up a Haunted House and it was my first time walking in the Haunted House. It was creepy, but I finally found my way out.
On the 29th of October, I gave up my Saturday to participate in an event at impact hub. There, we talked about world problems that causes climate change. There were many ideas came up in teams. After that, I listened to 8 presentations from 8 presenters that has created products to help solve world problem. One of my favorite was the “CO2 Gate”. This is a product that adsorb CO2 that our transportation released and besides, one of them cost only 5000 Riel and that we can use it up to three weeks. I think it’s interesting to me because I used to have an idea of making that too, but I’m not sure how could I make it works and finally it’s already exist! So, it caught my attention.
